3G Internet is readily available in Malta and although speeds cannot be directly compared with wired internet, it is more than enough for general use: surfing, e-mail and under good conditions even video streaming.

Because of the small size of Malta, 3G Internet is generally available everywhere in Malta and Gozo, reception is good and speed is satisfactory. One thing to watch out for with regards to the reception and quality of service is when using 3G Internet inside limestone buildings with little or no windows, as signals do not travel well through limestone.
